BBNaija S7: Netizens react as Rachel cooks rice with Sugar

Many viewers of reality show, BBNaija have reacted to Rachel’s recipe of using sugar in cooking rice.

The Big Brother Naija Level Up housemate, Rachel, who offered to cook for her Level Up housemates today, was spotted adding sugar inside boiling rice.

She had to make do with what was available after she realized mid-way through cooking that the house was out of salt.

In the absence of no other alternatives, she went for sugar to add taste to the rice.

When a surprised Eloswag asked why she added sugar to rice, she noted that she doesn’t like cooking food without taste, so she made do with what was available.

Her ‘unusual recipe’ caused quite a hilarious reaction from the viewers of the reality show.

This is coming after 25-year-old content Creator and hype girl, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor AKA Phyna made an unusual request from Biggie during a task on Wednesday evening.

The task, sponsored by Knorr, involved preparing a predetermined meal with the cooking cube.

The housemates were divided into teams and each team was given food items and cooking utensils to cook their meals.

During the task, the hype girl, Phyna called on Biggie’s attention because she had a question.

When he responded, Phyna said she doesn’t know how to use the pressure cooker provided for the task, and asked if her team could use a normal pot instead.

Biggie then gave her the go-ahead.

Interestingly, Phyna’s team comprising of her fellow housemates – Bryann, Chizzy, Daniella, Kess and Pharmsavi – won the task.
