BBC Breakfast Host, Sally Nugent Divorces Husband After 13 Years

BBC breakfast host, Sally Nugent has reportedly separated from her businessman husband Gavin Hawthorn after thirteen years of marriage.

According to a further report her husband, Gavin  have moved out of their £1.4million Cheshire home.

They have a  teenage son, but have been ‘moving in different directions’ recently.

The split is said to be ‘amicable’.

A friend of the couple told The Mail: “It’s very sad but they are no longer together.

“I think they tried to tough it out for quite a while as they didn’t want to split up if they could possibly help it for the sake of their son but they clearly couldn’t make a go of it.

“They’ve both been very guarded about the reasons behind their growing apart but it’s been plain for a while that they had been and now it’s obvious that they haven’t been able to resolve that despite clearly trying for some time.”. Reports suggest the pair’s careers made have played a part in the demise of their relationship.

While Sally’s star has become a household name since she replaced Louise Minchin in 2021, her husband left a senior marketing role at Pets at Home to inves in a local franchise for national group The Massage Company.
