Bayern slap €60m price tag on Lewandowski
Bayern Munich have reportedly told Barcelona they will have to pay around €60 million (£52m/$63m) to sign Robert Lewandowski.
According to Sky Sport, the Bundesliga champions have decided that they are ready to part ways with the Poland star but only for the right price.
So far, the Catalan side’s latest offers have fallen short of the Bayern’s demands.
CEO Oliver Kahn and other high-ranking club officials had categorically ruled out a change for a long time.
With the introduction of newcomer Sadio Mane, Kahn has stated that an early farewell is something they “can deal with”.
However, he continued that Lewandowski still “has a contract until 2023, which is always very important to mention.”
