Bayern Munich won’t let Lewandowski leave, ready to War Barcelona

It is becoming something of a war between Barcelona and Bayern Munich for the rights to own star striker, Robert Lewandowski’s services.

In the case of Bayern, they aren’t going to be put under pressure to sell their striker no matter how much Barcelona puts on the table, according to reports.

The case is somewhat an awkward one as the Poland international has only a year left in his contract with the Bavarians.

From indications, especially from the club’s honorary President, Uli Hoeness, the club is willing to let the former Borussia Dortmund star leave on a free than profit off him.

The Bundesliga champions had earlier slammed a price tag of at least 50 million euros on the striker, but according to Hoeness, Bayern have informed Barcelona not to bother wasting their efforts making further offers.

The honorary President reveals that the club has decided they won’t sell Lewandowski this summer in a quote at a Sports congress.

“I don’t know anything about a new offer. But as things stand in Munich, what I have heard is that Barcelona should save themselves the effort of making another offer,” He said.

“But Bayern’s words were clear. They said that Robert should honour his contract with Bayern Munich.

“I can’t imagine that there is any amount of money that would make them change their mind,” he added.

Despite Bayern Munich’s stance, Lewandowski is hell bent on leaving the club for Barcelona as the Poland international put on many antics and statements to force an exit from Bayern.

It seems the transfer window will enter a loggerhead with the two clubs both fighting for the services of the striker and it would prove quite the interesting match for neutrals.
