Barcelona lose at home to Rayo Vallecano

FC Barcelona have suffered another home defeat yesterday night, Sunday April 24, losing to Rayo Vallecano.

Xavi’s side looks to have been broken since their exit from the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt.

They have now lost two league games at the Camp Nou consecutively to Cadiz and Rayo respectively.

The visitors utilised their only shot on target with Alvaro Garcia’s well placed shot in the 7th minute.

The match was Barca’s only outstanding which could have reduced points between them and League leaders, Real Madrid.

This means Madrid only need to secure a point in their next game to lift the La liga title for this season.

Ancelotti’s side will join Bayern and PSG as league winners in the 2o21/22 season if they win/draw against Espanyol on April 30.
