Bank fraudsters arrested in Jigawa
The men of Nigeria police command in Jigawa State have arrested a 31-year-old Abdullahi Maikudi with his accomplice Surajo Habibu, for allegedly defrauding bank customers in Dutse metropolis.
Spokesman of the police command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest .
He said the arrest was made after two of their victims lodged their complaints that on Wednesday one Abdullahi defrauded them after they went to a bank in Dutse metropolis to withdraw money through ATM.
Adam said the suspect changed their ATM cards and withdrew a sum N50,000 and N8,000 from two different accounts, respectively.
He said the police, however, succeeded in arresting the suspect and he mentioned one Surajo Habibu in Limawa Village Dutse Local Government as his accomplice.
He was also traced and arrested and investigation is ongoing.
Jigawa Police Command is located in the North-West Geo-political Zone of Nigeria. It comprises Jigawa and Kano states, with the headquarters located in Kano state.
