Bandits abduct dozens of students in Bethel School, Kaduna

Bandits abducts wife of ECWA Church Pastor in Sokoto

Alleged bandits, on Monday morning, invaded Bethel Secondary School, Maramara Chickun Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted dozens of students.

Bethel Secondary School is a boarding school situated at the outskirts of Kaduna.

In accordance with a security guard in the school, Mr Daniel Muhuta, said, “I escaped narrowly. They came around 1.00am and started shooting. I was at the back of the school dormitory when I heard shooting and decided to pin down.”

As of the time of filling this report, security officers have sealed off the area, even as parents and relatives of the abducted students gathered at the main entrance feeling sorrowful.

Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mohammed Jalige did not pick his calls and did not reply to text messages sent to him.
