Bags Of Urine Thrown At Maurizio Sarri

Football often brings us wild moments, emotionally or violently, and during the Europa League game between Lazio and Feyenoord, former Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri got a bit of violence thrown at him in the form of urine from the stands.

Maurizio Sarri, the manager of Lazio, said that Feyenoord supporters hurled “bags of urine” at him from the stands during their Europa League encounter on Thursday.

He described the bags of urine as “a little annoying” since they smacked the back of the bench.

Feyenoord advanced from the group stage after defeating their Italian rivals 1-0 in the De Kuip stadium.

The loss caused Sari’s team, who was in need of a point from the match to advance to the round of 16, to be eliminated.

“There were bags of urine thrown from the stands down onto the back of the bench. It goes without saying, that is a little irritating,” the former Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri told a press conference, through FootballItalia.net.

The Italian added that the referee was also to blame for the loss, “I won’t even start on the referee,” he said.

“One player had at least seven or eight fouls from behind on our players, but in the end, the only yellow cards were to my team.

“As for their goal, there were two fouls in it, not one.

“We expected at the very least for the referee to view it again with VAR.”
