Ayra Starr makes history, becomes the first Nigerian female artist on Billboard 200
Ayra Starr, a very good singer, made history when she became the first Nigerian female artist to make it to the top of the well-known U.S. Billboard 200 Album list.
The success of her second solo record, “The Year I Turned 21,” which debuted at number 195 on Monday, made it possible for her to do such an amazing thing.

Additionally, it also debuted at No. 72 on the French Album chart.
Although, Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” remains the highest-charting Nigerian album in the US, reaching No. 14. “Love, Damini” is also the first Nigerian album to reach No. 1 on the UK album chart.
