In a recent chat with TOPNAIJA.NG, Babasanya-Craig affirmed his ultimate purpose for contesting is to drastically improve the welfare of his people, in every ramification.

According to him, “This journey is about taking personal responsibility for the transformation we so much desire. It is about standing up for my people whose voices have been discountenanced and stifled for so long.”

“I am very aware of the myriads of issues we have in this nation and it’s time to make a shift from mediocre leadership. I am particularly impressed by the ideals and actions of the Alliance for Democracy in Ogun State, especially for encouraging young and active minds like ours to contest,” Babasanya-Craig continued.

“For me, leadership is about service and as a Federal Legislator, who will be vested with the power to make laws, scrutinize bills and see to the proper conducts of government institutions, and reflect their interest, my energy will be focused on service and restoring the dignity of my people by providing the most credible leadership and representation possible” he vows.

Adding her voice to the cause, Babasanya-Craig’s wife, Tosin Babasanya-Craig says “There are more than a few things I can say about this man – He’s got a good and balanced head on his shoulders.”

In her words, “In the past few weeks, you have constantly asked, what can we do for artisans in the long run. Your love for the artisans, I shall understand eventually. This has become a crucial assignment for you and I wish you all the best on this mission.”
