Aubameyang in Shock Move to Chelsea

There has been a lot of Chelsea reports lately, and a new one state that former Arsenal man and current Barcelona striker, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could be in for a shock move to Chelsea.

The news comes courtesy of transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano who reveals with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, Aubameyang could be set to depart Barcelona this summer.

And according to Romano, the move might end up taking the Gabon international to Arsenal’s London rivals, Chelsea.

Aubameyang left Arsenal not quite long ago in a shock and controversial transfer to La Liga giants, Barcelona in January on the deadline day of the transfer market.

The former Arsenal man helped Barcelona to their resurgence, even scoring in his debut and in the El Clasico to help the Catalans to a second place finish in the La Liga table behind eventual winners, Real Madrid.

Despite all the performance, the Gabonese could be set for another move back to the Premier League and back to London but with a different club in Chelsea.

Romano tweeted on his social media:

“Chelsea are now considering Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as a potential new striker. Discussions have already started on the player’s side, still no bid to Barcelona.

“He’s one of the names in the Chelsea list after meeting with Sesko and other targets.”

Aubameyang could be interested in moving to Stamford Bridge after Barcelona brought in Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer, and in a clip shown of Lewandowski’s arrival at Barcelona, Aubameyang did not look all that happy.
