Atletico Madrid seriously mean business and they could be willing to offer Antoine Griezmann in exchange for 37 year old Ronaldo.

The transfer window isn’t shut until the Cristiano Ronaldo situation is resolved in this window, and whatever said story would be on that day, it certainly will break the internet for quite a while.

Well, as the story is going, La Liga club, Atletico Madrid may play a part in the narrative as they are ready to offer Antoine Griezmann or Alvaro Morata in exchange for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The news comes courtesy of The Times as it claims the La Liga club despite fans backlash are still contemplating the idea of signing CR7 before the window closes.

It can be recalled that a number of Atletico fans had demonstrated and released banners protesting against the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo to the club during the club’s preseason.

And it should also be recalled that CR7 had replied to the report with laughing emojis when the news first broke.

Could it be a sign that the Portuguese is telling the Atletico fans to get used to the idea of having him at the club?

The willingness to bring Ronaldo on board the Atletico Madrid ship is based on Diego Simeone wanting to work with the player.

With the Spanish club willing to offer Antoine Griezmann and Morata in the deal could help Man United take the bait.
