At least three persons die in Ibadan road accident
No fewer than three persons have been killed in a road accident in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Wednesday.
According to reports, the deceased include two males and a female.
The incident occurred in front of a petrol station at Total Garden area of Ibadan North Local Government Area.
It was gathered that the accident involved a Coca Cola truck and a commercial motorcyclist carrying two passengers.
Two other persons also sustained various degrees of injuries during the accident, TopNaija gathered.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commandant in Oyo State, Mrs. Uche Winifred Chukwurah, confirmed the incident to TopNaija.
Chukwurah said that five people were involved in the accident, which said was caused by a brake failure.
“The fault was brake failure according to the report.
“The number of persons involved was five persons.
“Three male adults and two female adults. And then, two people were injured. While three persons were killed, two males and one female,” she said.
