Sowore reveals He and Atiku were once partners in Crime

On Tuesday, the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, addressed rumors about his health status prior to the 2023 presidential election.

He stressed that his trips abroad are only for routine medical check-ups and not for any serious medical treatments.

Recalling an incident from 2006 when he suffered a fall from a staircase, Atiku explained that he had suffered a tendon rupture but was quickly treated and fully recovered.

He assured the public that he was prepared to present any requested medical reports to the electoral authority.

In a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, Atiku stated that if elected as president, he would prioritize seeking medical attention within the country.

However, if necessary treatments are not available domestically, he would consider seeking medical help abroad if it is more cost-effective.

Ultimately, Atiku emphasized that he would not simply “sit down and die” if faced with a medical crisis.
