Arsenal Ready to Make 2 High Profile Signings

At one point the joke of the premier league top 6 sides, Arsenal are fast growing into an intimidating side that going into the January season have managed to relegate Manchester City in second place.

With a profile like that, it is no surprise hearing reports linking the club to 2 high profile signings in the winter transfer window.

Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk, both of Atletico Madrid, are reportedly close to joining Arsenal.

Gabriel Jesus, who suffered a catastrophic knee injury at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, is being sought after by Arsenal.

David Ornstein, a sports writer for The Athletic and a transfer analyst, revealed that Mikel Arteta’s team was likely to sign Felix on a loan deal for the remainder of the year.

Speaking on NBC Sport, Ornstein said: “They’re also (along with Mykhailo Mudryk) keen to sign Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.”

Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, wants to get the player out of Atletico Madrid, according to him, as the Portuguese player has fallen out of favor at the Spanish team.

“Arsenal are keen to do it,” he added, saying, “That’s going to be very expensive. But he is a high-quality player.”
