fully funded graduate research scholarships for domestic & international students from any country enrolling Master by Research or Doctoral degree program for academic year 2019 – 2020.

There will be approximately 600 (six hundred) scholarships available. The scholarships will cover the full tuition fee, provide stipend for living expenses, relocation allowance, and health insurance for international students. Scholarships are available for the duration of the study program; 2 years for students undertaking Master by Research degree, and up to 3.5 years for students undertaking doctoral degree.

The scholarships will cover the following:

Full tuition fee.
Stipend for living expenses.
Relocation allowance.
Health insurance for international students.
Duration of Scholarships

Scholarships are available for the duration of the program; 2 years for students undertaking Master by Research degree, and up to 3.5 years for students undertaking doctoral degree.

Level of Education

Scholarships available for Master by Research and Doctoral degree only.

Subjects or Fields of Study

Scholarships available for all subjects available at The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria below:

Applicants must meet all the entry requirements for Master by Research or PhD degree program.
Applicants must have applied for a graduate research degree.
Scholarships available for current students and new students commencing study in academic year 2019 – 2020.
Number of Scholarships Available

600 (six hundred) scholarships will be available in 2019 / 2020.

Nationality

Scholarships available for all students from any country. There is no restriction or nationality criteria.

Selection Criteria

The University of Melbourne will assess your application based on your academic achievements, research potential and supporting documents.

How to Apply

New students must have applied for a graduate research course by the closing date and will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Current students must submit an online application form by the closing date in order to be considered for a scholarship.

Applicants will be notified that the scholarship application has been added to their applications record within seven days after submitting the online form.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2019.

Please take note of the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained!

Result Notification

The University of Melbourne will notify the outcome of the scholarship to selected students as part of their course offer or at around the same time course offers are made.
