In a passionate address, renowned Edo-born cleric Apostle Johnson Suleman has raised serious concerns about what he describes as the growing attacks on Christianity and its followers in Nigeria.
The outspoken preacher warned that a wave of diabolical myths about the Christian faith is gaining traction, posing a real threat to the position of Christians in the country if left unchecked.
Apostle Suleman didn’t shy away from pointing fingers, identifying false pastors as part of the problem. According to him, these individuals have fueled the hostility towards Christianity, making the faith vulnerable to attacks from both within and outside.

Shifting his focus to Nigeria’s leadership crisis, Suleman argued that the country’s failings are not a result of religion, whether Christianity or Islam, but rather the consequence of electing the wrong people into positions of power. He stressed that solving Nigeria’s problems requires a firm commitment to law and order, highlighting lawlessness as one of the nation’s most pressing issues.
His comments come at a time when religious tensions and societal challenges are intensifying across Nigeria. With Suleman’s stark warning, the debate over the role of faith in Nigeria’s future has taken on new urgency.
Interestingly, Suleman’s address followed a viral video featuring his daughter leading prayers at the teens’ church, adding a personal dimension to his ongoing crusade to protect and preserve Christianity in Nigeria.
