APC Pledges Prosperity on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday in Abuja, assured Nigerians of a vibrant future and a new era of prosperity under the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

Mr Felix Morka,the party’s National Publicity Secretary gave the assurance in a statement, while felicitaing Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 64th Independence anniversary.

He said Tinubu would not relent until the living conditions and the common good of Nigerains had significantly improved.

“On this day, we pay tribute to our founding fathers whose courage, doggedness, sacrifices and patriotism earned for us an independent nation that has endured 64 years and marching on.

“May their labour continue to be vindicated by the peace, unity and progress of our nation and people.

“We applaud all Nigerians for their innate vitality and resilient sojourn towards a more peaceful, united and prosperous nation.

“Without question, the journey has not been without its stumbles, but we rise and soar towards a more vibrant and prosperous future,” Morka said.

He explained that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu-led administration was a pact designed to clear barricades along our nation’s path to greatness.

He said the president campaigned to clear the barricades and had now set his hands on the plough to clear same.

Morka further said that the administration was making bold and difficult policy decisions and implementing reforms that were not only crucial, but inescapable.

He noted that though a number of the reforms had triggered some transient economic discomfort for our citizens, they.had begun to bear fruits of clarity, growth and progress.

“The president maintains an iron-clad commitment to doing all that is necessary to continue to mitigate and cushion their effects.

“And will not relent until the living conditions and the common good of all have significantly improved,” the APC spokesman said.

He urged Nigerians to be patient and sustain their invaluable support for the administration, adding that the dawn of a new era of prosperity beckons.

He assured Nigerians that the APC-led administration remains resolute and determined to bequeath a greater, more prosperous nation to the present and future generations.
