Antonio Conte To Miss Chelsea Clash
Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Antonio Conte, is set to miss the team’s upcoming London Derby against Chelsea in the Premier League. The news was confirmed by his assistant coach, Cristian Stellini, who said that he did not expect to see Conte back in the dugout for the match.
The Italian head coach is currently in Italy recovering from gallbladder surgery, which caused him to miss Tottenham’s recent 2-0 win against West Ham. Stellini has said that while he expects Conte to return to the team soon, he does not anticipate that he will be back in time for the Chelsea game.
Stellini stated, “No, I am not expecting Antonio to be back for Chelsea, but I expect Antonio will be back the week after Chelsea. We also have the game in the FA Cup, so maybe not Chelsea, but we don’t know because if Antonio feels well and he can live with some stress without feeling any pain or anything strange, Antonio will be back.”
Conte’s absence is expected to be a major blow to Tottenham, as they look to secure a win against their London rivals. The former Chelsea manager has had a positive impact on the Spurs since joining the club earlier this season, and his tactical expertise will be sorely missed in the upcoming match.
Despite the setback, Tottenham will be hoping to continue their recent good form and secure a victory against Chelsea, as they look to climb up the Premier League table. The match is set to take place on February 27th at Stamford Bridge.
