The tentative date slated for the rematch is June 25 as Saudi Arabia have reportedly prepare a whooping £90million to host the rematch (MailOnline).

Usyk’s Instagram post read, “I decided to start preparing for a rematch with Anthony Joshua. A large number of my friends support me, all the rest of the good and peace, Thank God for everything.”

This is contrary to his initial doubtful statement about the rematch, “I really don’t know when I’m going to be stepping back in the ring. My country and my honour are more important to me than a championship belt.”

Joshua will now become six boxer to retain the ‘heavyweight champion’ three times in boxing history if he wins this time against Usyk.
