And Then There Were 2: Sadio Mane Departs Liverpool

And then there were 2 as Sadio Mane exits the famous Liverpool front 3.

It certainly isn’t the time Liverpool fans would want to think of; the day one of the traditional front 3 leaves Liverpool.

It was Salah, Mane and Bobby Firmino, but now it’s just Salah and Firmino.

Stories were told of these 3, songs were made and praises were sang.

And Then There Were 2: Sadio Mane Departs Liverpool

And Then There Were 2

They led Liverpool to the finish line, to trophies and to glories, all 3 of them.

To every modern day Liverpool supporter, the famous front 3 are heroes. Is it the number of goals or assists between them or the mutual understanding both men had?

But in every story there’s always a villain and a climax.

The Villain? A Bayern Munich who is in town to poach Sadio the main Mane from the Reds.

The Climax? That an era is coming to an end.

They came, they saw, they United and they conquered. Will we ever see another Liverpool front 3 as good as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino again?

And Then There Were 2:

It remains to be seen for all Reds fans.

But today is the day Liverpool fans mourn the end of an era.

One is out, another is eyeing a move next season, the other has his contract ending next season also but he is begging to stay.

It’s a bitter ending for the front 3 one that would hurt the Reds and most especially Liverpool ex-player, Jamie Carragher.

His favorite Liverpool player is confirmed to be exiting the club.

And Then There Were 2:

Liverpool are confirmed according to Football journalist, Paul Joyce to have reached an agreement worth £27 million up front fee with £5 million add ons in number of appearances and £2.6 million based on individual and team performances for a total of £35.1 million with Bayern Munich for  Mane.

This deal will see Mane depart Liverpool this summer, with his last game for Liverpool being the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
