Anambra appoints new chief of staff

A former mayor of London, Ernest Ezeajughi, has been appointed by Governor Charles Soludo as his chief of staff.

 

In addition, the governor also appointed Ben Chiobi as his special adviser on security and Richard Madiebo as chairman, Internal Revenue Service, Anambra State.

 

Ezeajughi who was elected mayor of the London Borough of Brent in April, 2019 before becoming a mayor, has a strong membership in British Labour Party, and was also elected councilor in Britain, 2014.

He was also the chairman, British chapter of Nigeria’s All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) between 2010 and 2012.

 

In total, the appointments in Soludo’s government are now six, namely, Osita Chukwulobelu, a professor,  was appointed as secretary to the state government, Chukwudi Okoli as the accountant general, and Chinedu Nwoye, appointed as the deputy chief of staff/state chief of protocol.
