American man attempts suicide on Third Mainland Bridge

A middle aged Nigerian based American was said to have attempted suicide at the Third Mainland bridge in Lagos, Nigeria.

TopNaija gathered that the Lagos State Police Command confirmed this event, while withholding the man’s name.

It was confirmed that the man made the attempt on his life on Monday, June 10 at 1:23 p.m.

He was said to have directed his baby mama to park her vehicle with their daughter inside, while he walked to a spot on the bridge, intending to jump into the water before being noticed.

According to the authorities, a passerby came through by alerting police just as the yet-to-be identified American was about to leap over the bridge railings.
