America warns of potential Food crisis as Russia plan to weaponize food

Russia’s blockade is an attempt to weaponize food, America government warns as the crisis between Russia and Ukraine persists.

The saying goes, ‘All is fair in love and war’, but often times the saying becomes obsolete when humanity is thrown out of the window.

No matter the tactics used in an attempt to win a war or a political narrative, it becomes war crime if it becomes too mundane that millions have to suffer as a result of it.

The United States Government have now cried out on Russian President, Vladimir Putin’s plan to weaponize food in the on-going war with Ukraine.

This comes off John Kirby, the UD National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications’ statement on CNN that Putin “absolutely has weaponized food.”

“It absolutely, has weaponized food – Mr. Putin has weaponized food,” he said, acknowledging that Putin’s administration’s export blockade will go a long way to have a global impact if actions weren’t taken.

“We’re going to feel some of that probably here as well, which is why we’re working so hard on trying to find out alternative routes to get some of that grain out,” he said.

John Kirby, however admitted that the Biden administration and partner nations are working to overcome an export blockade that is causing a global food shortage.

The world needs to put all hands on deck as America warns.
