Bayo Omoboriowo, President Muhammadu Buhari‘s official photographer posted the image below of Lagos Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode‘s son prostrating before Buhari during his one-day working visit to the state.

Respect for elders and authority is an integral part of the Yoruba culture, as well as most Nigerian cultures, and prostrating to greet (for boys) is one way to show that.
