Ajegunle Explosion: Mother breaks down in tears over son’s death

Mother of 15 year-old has broke down in uncontrollable tears over son’s death in tanker explosion in Ajegunle, Lagos.

A video of the woman went viral online as she cried out revealing that “He was 15-year-old; he wanted to sit for WAEC exams”.

The tanker exploded around 3am on Friday, April 22 at Ajegunle Bus-Stop, around Alagbado, on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

The victim who was identified as Oluwtobi Lawal, was reportedly sleeping when the explosion happened.

According to sources of TopNaija.ng, the tanker was carrying 45,000 liters of petrol when it fell and spilled fuel as it approached a filling station.

Emergency officials have put out the fire amid mystery of how Lawal got razed by the fire in the first instance.
