Aguero Hails Chelsea’s Transfer Target

It may have taken quite some time for him but finally, Chelsea’s transfer target, Declan Rice is receiving all the acclaim he deserves owing to the consistency in his performance for a while now.

It has led to former Manchester City star, Sergio Aguero having a lot of favorable words for Chelsea’s target.

Declan Rice who according to multiple reports have been identified as a transfer target for Chelsea, received quite the praise from Manchester City great Sergio Aguero, who claims that the midfielder is on the same level as Casemiro of Manchester United and Sergio Busquets of Barcelona.

Rice is one of the Three Lions of England’s strengths at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, according to Aguero.

Over the past four seasons, Rice has established himself as one of the English Premier League’s most reliable performers and a fixture for the England national team.

Chelsea and Manchester United had previously shown interest in Rice because to his performance for West Ham United and England.

Speaking about Rice, Aguero told Stake, “For me, he’s a great player and is at the same level as the best midfielders like Busquets, Rodri and Casemiro.

“It seems to me that he’s valued. What happens is that with him not being in a ‘Big Six’ team, he doesn’t get talked about as much.

“But he has proven himself and I think he’s one of the strengths of the England team at the World Cup.”

With all the hype being built around Declan Rice, an impressive World Cup outing and a stellar 2022/23 season with West Ham will not only make the Englishman Chelsea’s transfer target but one for every top English club.
