African Giant, Burna Boy Speaks On Beyonce Being Overrated

The Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, AKA Burna Boy asserted that the American R&B singer, Beyonce, is in fact, a star.

He stated this while on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee as he was asked about the prestige attached to Beyonce’s music career and whether she is been overrated.

According to the Odogwu crooner, he does not know if she is the biggest star in the world, but he knows that she is a star in her own world per se.

In response to that Charlamagne stated that a fellow in his studio thinks Beyonce is overhyped and Drake is far better than her when it comes to music.

He asked the Odogwu crooner if he thinks the same, but Burna responded by asking the person if he does not think Drake is also overhyped.

Burna boy, during the weekend, was also fortunate to have been invited to Beyonce’s Tiffany & Co’s party in Paris, France, and a photo on social media captured them conversing.

He had earlier shared his experience working with Queen Bey, saying it was great.

The album, The Lion King: The Gift, featured other Nigerian singers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi and Yemi Alade.
