Adanma Luke: "We are processing legal documents" -- AGN

Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has announced the establishment of an organization dedicated to probing the tragic incident indicting producer Adanma Luke that claimed the lives of Junior Pope and four other crew members.

In a recent statement, Rollas disclosed that the newly formed body would meticulously examine the circumstances surrounding the disaster, shedding light on any potential negligence or misconduct. He emphasized that the AGN is committed to ensuring accountability and justice for those affected by the tragedy.

During an appearance on Arise TV this morning, Rollas affirmed the association’s proactive approach to the matter, revealing that legal action against Adanma Luke, the producer of the ill-fated movie, is a possibility pending the submission of the committee’s report.

Rollas underscored the seriousness of the situation, noting that the AGN’s legal team is diligently preparing documentation as the incident is deemed legally actionable.

The incident, which occurred during a boat commute to the film site in Anambra, claimed the lives of Jnr Pope and four other individuals. Criticism has been directed at Adanma Luke for purportedly failing to provide adequate safety measures, such as life jackets, before embarking on the journey.
