Actress Mercy Aigbe cries out over acute depression

Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has cried out about being depressed as she laments bitterly about the hike in the exchange rate.

In a post on her Instagram page, Mercy Aigbe questions other Nigerian entrepreneurs about coping with the current exchange rate.

Mercy Aigbe, whose daughter is schooling outside Nigerian, also lament about the difficulty in paying her school fees abroad.

She wrote: My fellow entrepreneurs how exactly are you coping with this exchange rate? Even paying abroad school fees na die, this country!!

In a subsequent post, Mercy Aigbe wonders the exact cause of the ridiculous hike in the exchange rate, adding she is depressed and anyone currently earning in foreign currency is a boss.

She wrote: What exactly is the cause of this ridiculous hike in exchange rate? I am depressed walai If you earn in foreign currency, you be Oga Boss oh!

Mercy Aigbe has earlier thrown a subtle shade at her ex-husband Lanre Gentry following his new marriage over the weekend.

Still basking in the euphoria of his new marriage, Lanre Gentry took to his Instagram page to share a video of his new wife Busayo dancing at their wedding.

After her first marriage ended due to the interference of her mother inlaw, Mercy Aigbe in 2013, married a Nigerian hotelier, Lanre Gentry, and has two children (Juwon Gentry and Michelle Aigbe) and three stepdaughters.

In 2017, she shared photos of herself after allegedly being assaulted by her husband. She consequently separated from her husband due to claims of domestic violence, and started a campaign against it
