Abiodun Koya is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, poet, actress, screenwriter and philanthropist based in the United States. She is one of the very few professionally trained opera singers of African origin. She is called the Presidents’ and Kings’ singer.

Abiodun koya was born into family of five children, she is the last child compromising two sisters and two brothers. Her father’s name is Rufus Koya, Mr Rufus koya, played classical music which undoubtedly pave the way for his daughter for her emergence in music. She grew up with his siblings in Ijebu ode, Ogun State in South Western Nigeria. That was when she moved to the United States where she had her Educational pursuit.
