Pure luck -- Aguero trash talks Ronaldo's free kick

Former Chelsea player, Jason Cundy is one pundit who feels empathy for former Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo regarding the criticisms he has faced, likening the star to a Superman who can’t fly.

Jason Cundy also suggested that those who were critical of Cristiano Ronaldo try harder to understand the former Real Madrid star’s viewpoint.

The football legend has struggled for playing time at Manchester United in recent months, and his nation no longer views him as their primary man as a result.

He recently was dismissed at Manchester United as a result of his controversial TalkTV interview with Piers Morgan.

Many analysts, including some of Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammates, have criticized the football legend, but Jason Cundy wants people to consider more factors when analyzing what may be an iconic player’s apparent decline.

“There’s a lot that gets said about Ronaldo lately and I think the guy needs a little bit of a break,” Cundy told talkSPORT.

Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Jason Cundy, sees himself differently than how others perceive him, and the Portugal captain is practically superhuman.

“He is like Superman finding out that he can’t fly anymore but he believes he can,” he added, saying that it is impossible to tell what it is like to be Ronaldo.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar does not realize he is at his twilight, according to the Chelsea legend, who believes that everyone should understand this.

“I feel sorry for him… I have a lot of sympathy for him,” he added.

“Everyone’s talking about the demise of Ronaldo. We know that, we can see it with our own eyes but he can’t face it.”
