A Grand Celebration of Love: Chioma Okeke Weds Chibuike Asianya

In a heartwarming celebration of love and unity, family of Professor Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi ( A Professor of Safety & Environment) & Ambassador Dr Mrs Ngozi Gift Okeke gave out their daughter’s hand in marriage.

The Okeke family joyously marked a significant milestone in their lives as they came together to witness the union of their beloved daughter, Chioma Melody Okeke.

Chioma, a native of Umunnem, Umulogho in Obowo L.G.A, Imo State, joined hands and hearts in matrimony with Chibuike Stephen Asianya from Umuezearo, Ezemazu, Urualla in Ideato North L.G.A, also within the picturesque state of Imo.

This joyous event took place on the memorable Saturday of September 2nd, 2023.

The scenic wedding ceremony was held at the Agric Road Uvwie L.G.A secretariat in Effurun Warri.

Following the heartfelt vows and exchange of rings, family and friends gathered to celebrate the newlyweds at a splendid reception hosted at the Eagle Class Events Centre, Bloom Hall, nestled on Plot 1 Agbinone Street, just off Refinery Road, before Ekpan Police Station, near Ovus Filling Station, Ekpan Warri.

The grandeur of the event was further elevated by the presence of distinguished individuals, including Engr (Dr) Tony Okoh, CEO/MD of Anotech Global Services Nigeria Limited, and Engr (Bar) Dave Ikutegbe, a Marine Superintendent at Chevron Nigeria Limited.

The occasion also saw the esteemed presence of Engr & Deaconess Robert Osarunwese, with Nze Desmond Okafor graciously representing His Royal Highness, the Eze Uwalaka of Umulogho autonomous community in Obowo L.G.A, Imo State. Engr Dave Ukpe, the Operations Director of Astra Milan Nig Ltd, a renowned oil and gas services provider in Delta State, lent his presence to the joyous occasion.

Adding a spiritual dimension to the festivities, Reverend (Dr) Austin John Obiechina and Shepherdess Princess Kene Obiechina from the Stars of Heaven Covenant Church in Effurun were in attendance, blessing the union with their prayers and good wishes.

Highlighting the international significance of this event, the United Nations Polac team also made their presence felt, underscoring the global reach of love and unity.

Apostle James Obioha of Word of God Tabernacle, accompanied by fellow members from Abia State, brought their blessings and well-wishes to the newlyweds, reinforcing the sense of community and togetherness.

The groom, Ambassador Chibuike Stephen Asianya, is a dedicated staff member of Hopic Nigeria Limited, a distinguished oil and gas services company, while Prof Okeke’s daughter, Chioma, enriched with a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus, stands as a testament to the family’s dedication to education and achievement.

Notably, Chioma is a twin sister to Dr. Gozirim Marvelous Okeke, an Oncologist Specialist with the World Health Organization, making their family’s achievements an inspiration to all.

That same Saturday was the birthday of both Chioma and her twin sister.

The wedding day was adorned with a stunning palette of Black & Gold, Purple & Orange, setting the stage for a visually striking celebration of love and commitment.
