August 1: What Peter Obi said about #EndBadGovernmentInNigeria protests

Speaking to a large congregation, the Late TB Joshua said;

“So God show me this vision, not sitting down writing an article. This is not press conference. This is a vision I saw, carry your youth along.” the acclaimed Man of God had asserted.

This is in references to the government consistently ignoring the plight of its masses till it eventually gets out of hands, provoking a protest. TB Joshua goes on to add that in his address to the Synagogue church in his sermon that the protest has the ability to stop those in power once it eventually kicks in.

“When I say revolution, I mean every revolution start by protest. When it start by protest, at that protest, the power can stop them, they have the ability to stop them.”

TB Joshua goes on to add in his sermon and his prophecy saying in quote:

“They have the ability to stop them, but when it become revolution, no one can stop revolution. Revolution means everyone is ready to go for it. I repeat again. I’m seeing what?

“A revolution. I’m seeing people taking to the streets. At the beginning of that protest, instead of revolution, I say protest, it’s a parallel. Because when it start, you say protest, but at the end of the day, you realize that this is a revolution.

“You can stop protest, but you cannot stop revolution. Every revolution start by protest. If I’m talking, let me see your hand. It will come, people carry blanket, hey, hey, hey, you say this protest, you carry police, you carry everything, you stop them. But when it become revolution, everybody are ready to die.

“So you can stop it. At the beginning of that protest, I call it beginning because at the beginning of every revolution, it looks like protest. It must be stopped at the beginning. Eventually, it will become so big that it cannot be stopped. This I see happen. Thank you, Dad.”

The clergyman has been known during his lifetime to predict some events with a bit of accuracy which hints that the upcoming nationwide protest may be a part of the things he saw coming in the near future.

It is uncertain that the nationwide protest situated for August 1, 2024 will provoke a revolution or hold even, but TB Joshua predicting an incoming revolution might be something Nigerians should watch in the near future as the country continues its path towards decay.

The famed clergyman was not without his critics, with the Synagogue founder facing controversies prior and after his death following a BBC documentary on the popular religious figure.
