Osi Balogun Of Ibadanland, Oba Adebimpe Is Dead

Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, also known as the Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, has died.

His death on Wednesday after a short illness was a great loss.

As an Ibadan high chief, he was one of the people who was made an Oba.

When the new house of the Olubadan was opened at Oke Aremo in the Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, the late Oba Adebimpe spoke for the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.

This was his last public showing. The most important thing is that he wasn’t at the event at Mapo Hall on July 12 where Oba Olakulehin was crowned as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

At the time of this story, not much was known about how he died.

His father, Oba Gbadamosi Akanbi Adebimpe, was the 35th Olubadan of Ibadanland, so Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe came from a royal family.

Oba Adebimpe the Elder was crowned on December 10, 1976, and ruled for 18 months. He died on July 17, 1977, at the age of 85.
