Man Butchers wife in Ondo State, Kills Self With Sniper

Popular businessman,Sesan Adelabu have reportedly butchered wife, Bolu to death on Friday night in Akure, Ondo State. 

According to a further report, the incident had  occurred in their residence in the highbrow area of Alagbaka.

According to sources in the area, Adelabu, popularly known as “Shessy Emirate” within the social circle, inflicted a series of machete cuts on his wife after he allegedly caught her having an affair.

After brutally butchering her to death, Emirate, who owns chains of gas and filling stations, was said to have driven out of his house to buy a deadly insecticide known as Sniper.

“The officer attached to the deceased in his house in the Alagbaka area of Akure received a call from the deceased child around 6 p.m. asking after his father.

“When he was not picking up his calls, the policeman, while trying to inform his principal, discovered him face down and lifeless in the toilet, while his wife’s body was found on the bed with multiple cuts suspected to be machete cuts on her head and face.

“An empty container of snipers was also found at the scene,” she said.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased couple have been deposited at the mortuary.
