Taylor Swift Breaks Guiness Record For Highest-Grossing Music Tour
Taylor Swift, an American singer, has become the first person to earn $1.04 billion from a music tour.
Her ‘Eras’ tour became the highest-grossing music tour in history.
On Tuesday, Guinness World Records confirmed the new record on their website.
The ‘Eras’ tour was also the first to earn more than $1 billion in revenue.
According to Pollstar, the tour, which began in March 2023 and is scheduled to end in December 2024 after a total of 151 shows worldwide, has earned $1.04 billion (£840 million) to date.
The earnings surpassed Elton John’s five-year farewell tour, which concluded earlier this year, bringing in $939 million (£749 million) over 328 shows.
