Carabao Cup Quarter Final Draw as Holders Exit Cup
After suffering defeat to former Carabao Cup holders, the current champions of the cup will exit the competition, Liverpool following a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad.
These all leads the competition in favor of Manchester City going forward with roughly all the big guns already out of the competition aside Manchester United who judging by the current draw may have things switched to their favor this time around.
On Thursday night, the Carabao Cup quarterfinal draw for this season was done.
After eliminating the current champions Liverpool, Manchester City will now visit Southampton in the following round.
While Leicester City travels to Newcastle United, Manchester United hosts Charlton Athletic.
The week beginning January 9, 2023, will see the play of the final eight matches.
