US flood: Heavy downpour submerges Miami roads (videos)
Whirl winds and heavy rainfall have caused severe flooding in Miami following the Storm that hit Florida at the weekend.
The roads have become waterlogged as residents struggle to pass and motorists unable to drive through.
According to NBC Miami, Tow trucks reportedly spent hours pulling cars out of the flood waters in trendy Brickell, downtown Miami’s urban center.
Tampa Bay CBS station WTSP reported that firefighters have dissipated their efforts tirelessly to rescue drivers trapped in their cars.
The report also reveled that some drivers had to escape from their cars by climbing out of their sunroofs.
