National Union of Road Transport (NURTW)’s Vice Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Oyedepo, popularly known as Koko Zaria has condemn Nigerians making fun of those making grammatical errors in English while speaking.

Koko Zaria has called-out all Nigerians in the act of making jest of those making little English errors while speaking the language. The NURTW member says that majority of world billionaires cannot even speak English well enough, and yet, they are still celebrated. It is only in Nigeria that those that cannot speak English are mocked.

Koko Zaria also made a point saying when Lionel Messi speaks, he speaks in his local language, but in Nigeria, such a person will be the laughing stock of the town. He however, employ Nigerians to appreciate their language.

In an Instagram video he posted, he said (in his local language);

“Come, I’m tired of this Nigeria. If you do a little mistake on English language, they will use you for comedy here and there. The father that gave birth to your money cannot even speak English, the person that took care of your mom right from childhood to adulthood cannot speak English. Because you’ve known it all now, anybody that makes little mistake will be turned to laughing stock of the town.”
