79-Year Old Mudered by His Son in Evbuotubu, Edo State
A 79 years old man named, Osariakhi Oronsaye, was axed dead by 13-year old son. The event took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 20.
The son, named Abubakar, had earlier threatened to kill his father. The 79-year old then reported the case to the Evbuotubu police command. The boy was then arrested and the father pleaded for his release.
The boy carried out his deadly act after his release. The murder took place at Egbon estate in Evbuotubu, Benin City.
The Director of Public Prosecution would give advice on how to handle the case. This was made in a statement by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Kontongs Bello.
