73 Year Old Man Rapes Five Year Old Girl In Isolo

The Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 73-year-old man, Dukuye Ohofete, at Aswani, in the Isolo area of the state, for raping a five-year-old girl.

It was gathered that the victim and her mother, who lived around Egan, in the Igando area of the state, visited the suspect at his residence on the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation Estate, Isolo, on Wednesday, December 13, 2022.

According to further reports, the elderly man had sent the victim’s mother to the market the following day around 4pm to buy foodstuffs, as she left her child in his care.

A source stated that the Aswani Police Division was informed when people around the suspect’s house heard the cry of the child.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the elderly man was arrested and the victim sent to the Mirabel Centre, Lagos State, for examination and treatment.
