5 new Nollywood movies you should see in July

While there’s still “Isoken” and “10 Days in Sun City” showing in cinemas, July is almost here with enough dose of entertainment.

Pulse Movies has rounded up the biggest new movies coming to the cinemas in July, including Omotola Jalade Ekeinde’s first movie in three years, “Alter Ego.”

Check out five Nollywood movies you should look forward to this July.

1. “Alter Ego”

Directed by Moses Inwang, the movie will be released on July 21.

In “Alter Ego,” a woman will stop at nothing to see sex offenders and molesters punished. If she cannot get the courts to imprison them, she will find other ways to punish them

2. “Picture Perfect”

The upcoming movie tells the story of a fashion designer who meets a notorious area boy when her car breaks down in his hood.

What seems to be a distressing situation, turns out to be a blessing, only to go completely sideways when he sets up home beside her shop

The Tope Alake movie will make its debut on July 7, 2017.

3. “Ajuwaya”

Produced by Lord Tanner, the movie debuts on July 7, 2017.

Featuring Kemi Lala Akindoju, Rahama Sadau, Timini Egbuson, Lanre Hassan and many others, the movie tells the story of The corp members, who arrive in the remote village and awaken an age long evil that begins to haunt them.

4. “Trace”

The movie which debuts on July 28, 2017, features Blossom Chukwujekwu, Bayray Mcwinzu, Gregory Ojefua, Yinka Pearce among others.

Directed by Olu Alvin, “Trace” follows a couple plagued by the dark secrets of their pasts that pose a threat to their new married life.

5. “The In-Laws”

Produced and directed by Charles Uwagbai, the movie will premiere on July 14, 2017.

In “The In-Laws,” an old-school, lawyer’s daughter is set to marry a retired policeman’s son. However, their parents’ deep suspicion and disapproval turn the lovebirds into strange bedfellows.
