Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed popularly known as Bella Shmurda has responded to Lagos State University, who pleaded with him to return back to school and finish his degree.

Apparently, the singer had revealed some days ago that he was happy he failed his school examinations and proceeded to carry out his dreams in 2020, else he would have been whining and dining in carryovers.

However, Lagos State University reached out to the singer via Twitter, pleading with him to return back to the university and finish his degree program and get his certificate after seeing what the singer had said that the university does not make people wealthy.

In response to that, Bella Shmurda responded saying that “four years in Lagos State University is nothing and that it is better to work because the economy is suffering.”

He wrote, ‘’4 years in @LASUOfficial is really nothing, Better get tha money. The economy is starving.’’

He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Vision 2020”, and a follow-up remix which featured Nigeria rapper Olamide.
