34-year-old woman arrested in possession of 100 AK-47 ammunition in Delta
The Delta State Police Command has apprehended a 34-year-old woman, Queen Uwagbogu, who is accused of selling AK-47 ammunition.
The suspect was arrested by operatives of the Crack Squad in Delta State, who discovered one hundred rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition in her possession.
The arrest was made based on actionable intelligence, and investigations are currently underway, according to a statement by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.”
Edafe wrote; “The command’s crack squad acting on credible intelligence has arrested one Queen Uwagbogu age 34 years in Effurun. She deals on illegal sales of AK47 ammunition. She is currently in custody, and investigation is ongoing.”

In a separate incident, a young man named Nura Mohammed has confessed to masterminding the theft of a new motorcycle in Adamawa State.
Nura, a commercial motorcyclist, admitted to orchestrating the theft in order to raise money for his wedding. Alongside his accomplice, Muhammed Bello, they lured the victim to a specific location where they took his motorcycle.
The Adamawa State Police Command apprehended the suspects in Fufore Local Government Area following the victim’s report.
Nura Mohammed, aged 20 and a native of Modire in Girei LGA, and Muhammed Bello, aged 24 and from Jili Unguwan Wakili in Fufore LGA, confessed to the crime and appealed for mercy.
Nura explained that he committed the theft out of love and to gather funds for his relationship and upcoming marriage.
He asked his girlfriend to be patient and understand his actions were driven by their relationship. Nura pleaded for forgiveness, emphasizing that it was his first offense.
