Government of Hungary (Stipendium Hungaricum) Scholarship Program for International Students
The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme, by the Hungarian Government is offering international students the opportunity to undergo study of all types in Hungary for free. The core mission of the programme is to increase the number of foreign students in Hungary and to encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top foreign students. The Programme is managed by Tempus Public Foundation.

Ashinaga Fully-funded Undergraduate Scholarships for Orphans from Africa
Ashinaga presents the “Ashinaga Africa Initiative” aiming to provide higher education to 20 brilliant students from 19 Sub-Saharan countries each year, some of which are among the poorest in the world, and encourage them to become leading professionals in their own countries. The organization provides scholarships to orphans and has supported over 95,000 orphans in the last 45 years, and many of its graduates are actively contributing to society in a variety of fields across the world.

Each year, Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study in the UK are offered for citizens of developing Commonwealth countries. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

Commonwealth Split-site PhD Scholarship in UK for Developing Countries
The Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships is offered to support citizens of developing Commonwealth countries for one year’s study at a UK university as part of a PhD being undertaken in a candidate’s home country.

Ireland: University College Dublin (UCD) Global Excellence Undergraduate and Masters Scholarships for African Students
The Global Excellence Undergraduate and Masters Scholarship Program is funded by UCD International and aims to attract excellent candidates to the UCD’s undergraduate and graduate programs and encourage early application. Successful candidates will be selected on merit paired with a holistic review of their scholarship application and will receive 50% tuition fee waiver.

SDA Bocconi School of Management MBA Scholarships for African Students – Italy
SDA Bocconi School of Management is making available one merit-based tuition waiver of 70% of the tuition fee and one merit-based tuition waiver of 50% of the tuition fee to 2017/2018 MBA candidates from Africa with an outstanding profile.

TU Delft Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarships – The Netherlands
TU Delft | Global Initiative offers four Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarships every year. 50 Fully-funded University of Oslo Norway Scholarships for Bachelors and Masters Students
University of Oslo is offering the International Summer School (ISS) Norway Scholarships to outstanding international students for Bachelors and Masters Degrees. The International Summer School – ISS offers Norway scholarships to applicants from certain countries. Citizens from countries in Africa, Asia, Oceania, Central America or South America may apply for full or partial scholarships for Master’s courses.

William Ross Murray Scholarship (LL.M) for Students in Developing Countries – University of London
The William Ross Murray Scholarship is a joint initiative with International Students House (ISH). SOAS will cover the cost of tuition fees at the Overseas rate and ISH will provide free accommodation. The scholarship also provides a small contribution in food vouchers. There is one William Ross Murray Scholarship available.

Italy: Cattolica Africa Scholarship Program for African Masters Students
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as part of its mission to foster relationships with developing countries, has developed a special program for students from the African continent. This program will enable students to study for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs taught in English at UCSC’s Milan, Piacenza and Cremona campuses.

Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarships for African Students at SOAS, University of London
Thanks to the generosity of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable trust, three Ferguson scholarships have been established for African Students (African nationals and resident in Africa), who wish to undertake a taught masters course at SOAS. Each Ferguson Scholarship is valued at £25,000 in total and lasts for one year. The scholarships can be used for fees and the remainder towards maintenance.

30 University of Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship for International Students
The University of Edinburgh offers Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship for international students to study for PhD in 2017/2018 academic year. These awards areopen to overseas students undertaking a research degree and may be held in any field of study. Applicants must be liable to pay tuition fees at the rate applicable to overseas students and must have already applied for admission to a full-time PhD research programme of study.

University of Tsukuba Program in Economic Policy (PEP) Scholarships for Developing Countries

University of Leeds Tetley and Lupton Masters Taught and Research Scholarships for International students
Up to 5 Tetley and Lupton Scholarships are available for international students wishing to undertake a one-year full-time taught Masters, Masters of Research and Masters by Research degrees in any Faculty at the University of Leeds. The award will cover fees at the University of Leeds International rate – capped at £20,000.

African Graduate Fellowships at American University Cairo for Masters Students
The African Graduate Fellowship is a competitive fellowship program for bright, highly motivated African students interested in pursuing a master’s degree at AUC. Each year, fellowships are offered to nationals of African countries (not including Egyptians) for full-time study (nine credits or more) in any of the graduate programs offered at AUC.
