2025 AFCON: Teams that have qualified

Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured their spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Thursday without even stepping onto the pitch, joining three other teams that effortlessly punched their tickets to Morocco.

Thanks to Libya’s crucial 1-0 victory over Rwanda, Nigeria secured a top-two finish in Group D, effectively sealing their qualification.

Later, the Super Eagles played a calm 1-1 draw against Benin Republic, confirming their position as Group D winners.

Gabon, South Africa, and Uganda similarly benefited from favorable results in their groups, while Tunisia clinched a dramatic 3-2 victory over Madagascar with a last-minute goal, qualifying for a record-breaking 17th tournament appearance.

Meanwhile, other AFCON heavyweights like Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and reigning champions Ivory Coast have already made the lineup, shaping up a fierce competition ahead. With more spots still up for grabs, fans across Africa are eagerly awaiting the final roster for Morocco 2025.
