#2018CNNHeroes: Help Abisoye Ajayi-Akinfolarin’s GirlsCoding Match Subaru’s $50k Donation

Abisoye Ajayi-Akinfolarin has been touching lives across Nigeria through GirlsCoding, an initiative of her Pearls Africa Foundation, for years and this year, she got a major recognition for her work in training girls from under-privileged homes get functional IT skills with which they can earn a living.

She was one of the ten finalists for the 2018 CNN Heroes. Although she didn’t win the top award, she got a $10,000 donation to continue with her work.

Now she needs your help to get more funding and get more girls empowered. Subaru has promised to match every donation each of the 10 finalists get dollar for dollar up to $50,000 with individual donations to the maximum of $5,000.

Over the last 3 years GirlsCoding has trained over 470 girls with less than $50,000.00 with your support and that of family and friends.
