Thoughts are things and words are things.

Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” Considering the ‘powerful force’ of the words we utter, we must discipline ourselves to speak in a way that conveys respect, gentleness and humility. A single sentence can win you over, put you out, set your boundaries, and change how others perceive you.

Nnedi Okoroafor, an award-winning writer and Marvel content creator trended on twitter for 2 days because of 3 words: TALK IS CHEAP. Powerful!

They agreed that “talk is cheap” is motivational and the young writer should have taken advantage of the ‘opportunity’. However, many people still cannot see how “talk is cheap” is motivational – since it connotes disbelief.

Talk really is cheap, and the nicest gift you may be able to give to someone is a few positive words.
