11 dead in Kharkiv, Ukraine as Russia launch attacks amid peace talks
Ukraine’s former capital and second most populated city, Kharkiv, has recorded at least 11 civilians death from fresh Russian attacks.
The regional governor confirmed this on Monday adding that dozens more had been injured.
“The Russian enemy is bombing residential areas,” Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
He added, “As a result of the bombardments that are ongoing, we cannot call on the emergency services… currently there are 11 dead and dozens wounded”.
These fresh attacks are happening while both Russia and Ukraine delegations are in the middle of peace negotiations in Belarus.
